Our Impact
Built upon BNI’s legacy of youth development, UniPrep is a testament to BNI’s expertise in mentoring and equipping young people for success. Since 2017, the BNI Youth Center at the University of Ibadan has provided a nurturing environment where young people develop leadership, social, and emotional skills through civic engagement and community-building activities. Over 85 alumni of the University of Ibadan have benefited from BNI’s mentorship, with 37 advancing their graduate studies in countries like the USA, Canada, Germany, South Africa, and the UK. BNI’s impact extends beyond UniPrep, with initiatives such as:

LifePAD Summer Program
A two-week leadership and life skills initiative for teenagers, fostering creativity and community impact. In 2022, participants created a campaign song and video, “Don’t Throw It Away,” winning the UNESCO Media and Information Literacy Global Youth Hackathon.
Graduate Mentorship School (GRAMS)
A two-week annual program preparing young graduates for career readiness and resilience in the labor market.


Certificate Course in Data Analysis for Research and Development (DARD)
A three-month program enhancing research and analytical skills for students and professionals.
Essential Digital and Information Technology Skills (EDITS)
A digital education initiative promoting workplace readiness and reducing the digital divide among marginalized youths.


Language for Humanitarian Diplomacy (LAHD)
A multilingual and intercultural program fostering global competence through language training and cultural immersion in countries like Benin Republic, Cote D’Ivoire, and Ghana.
